Got a voucher from a friend for the family. My mother is 93 and bed ridden so we asked if they could do a carry out for lunchtime. Staff were more than helpful and we got seafood chowder with Scampi and chips to follow. It was excellent and my mum ate every bit of hers. Thanks guys... you made an old lady very happy 👍😄

Attended Bull & Claw for an early lunch whilst in the town. Food was good. The two bar men that was working on the day was great! Super friendly. Friend ordered 2 pints of their Guinness & rated it very low hence the 4 stars.

The food here was outstanding. The lemon pepper chicken dish was amazing, so delicious, one of the best dishes I have ever eaten. Service was friendly and attentive. Highly recommended. I can't wait to go back again very soon.

Booked a family meal out for this afternoon. Lovely relaxed surroundings, friendly staff and quick service. We all chose from the 2 course Christmas special. Chowder was absolutely first class and we've tried a lot of chowders! Top marks also for sticky chilli chicken starter. All mains (turkey/beef/lamb shank/veggie roast) were delicious. Highly recommend a visit, we're looking forward to the next time.

Took my grand kids out for a meal here....really busy but really well looked after. Nice table and service was great. Food was excellent and nicely presented. Will be back again and highly recommend. Thanks

Great food, atmosphere and friendly staff albeit one junior female waitress who had a bit of an attitude and lack of manners when returning change from the bill to our table and when we were leaving. Disappointing as I don't tip rudeness! Menu is a bit limited and could do with more choices.
